Four notebooks, which appear to date from the late 19th to early 20th century, containing genealogical notes on the Eliot/Elliott family in England and America. Scrapbook containing clippings of articles including obituaries and wedding announcements by and about Eliot family members; advertising material from Eliot-owned businesses including William Elliott & Sons, N.Y., flower seeds, C.V. Elliott's Drug and Bookstore, Mansfield, Pa., T.D. Elliott & Co., Mansfield, Pa., J. Boyd Eliot - Mechanical Engineer, Expert in Patents, Gramercy Park Hotel, New York City, and others; and programs, a meeting announcement of the New York Academy of Medicine of which G.R. Elliott, M.D. was Secretary, and other printed material generated by various activities of Eliot family members. The bulk of the scrapbook material dates from the 1880s.
